I create art for many reasons – to interpret my lived realities, to relate to others in this world, and to connect with the aspects of myself that I cannot put into words. I see art as a way of communicating, not just with others but also with myself. This film was my medium for processing the end of my eleven-year relationship and a particular, expected life trajectory and learning to define myself as a complete being on my own. Partway through creating this film, I started meditating on the concept of queer temporalities. This idea of time succinctly articulated my experiences of time as a queer and neurodivergent individual. I therefore began queering the memories of my past and present within the film.
